SUNDERKEEP
DRAFT, not in force. This page is a draft written for the owner and must be checked by a lawyer and an accountant (regnskapsfører) before the Store takes real money. Highlighted fields are placeholders. Nothing can be bought with real money yet: the Store runs in test mode only.

Terms of Sale

Draft of October 4, 2026

1. Who sells to you

Sunderkeep is made and sold by [LEGAL NAME], a sole proprietorship (enkeltpersonforetak) registered in Norway, organization number [ORG NUMBER][MVA, if registered], [ADDRESS], email [EMAIL]. Full details are on the Imprint page.

[If a merchant of record is used, e.g. Paddle:] Our order process is run by our online reseller [Paddle.com Market Ltd], who is the merchant of record for all orders. They handle payment, invoicing, VAT and sales tax, and payment questions and refunds go through them as well as through us. Their buyer terms apply to the payment itself and are shown at checkout.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply when you buy something in the Sunderkeep Store with real money: cosmetic items (mounts, pets, appearances, toys, titles), bundles, the Season Pass, and gold purses. Playing the game itself is free and is not a purchase.

3. What you buy

4. Prices and payment

5. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to buy in the Store. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying. You need a Sunderkeep account (signed in) to buy.

Note for the lawyer: Norwegian law (vergemålsloven § 9) limits minors' legal transactions to money they have at their own disposal. Consider a monthly spending cap per account as goodwill.

6. Delivery

Items are digital content delivered to your account at once, as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment (usually within seconds). If something hasn't arrived within an hour, contact us at [EMAIL] and we will fix it or refund you.

7. Gifts

Most cosmetic items and the Season Pass can be bought as a gift for another player by typing the name of one of their characters. The item goes to that player's account, not the buyer's. A gift can't be bought for a player who already owns the item. Gold purses and the Founder's Starter can't be gifted. Check the name carefully: if you send a gift to the wrong name, contact us within 14 days and we will try to sort it out (see the Refunds & Withdrawal policy).

8. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU/EEA you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that is delivered at once, this right ends when delivery starts, if you have expressly agreed to immediate delivery and confirmed that you know you lose the right of withdrawal. The Store asks you for this before you pay. The details, and the refunds we give anyway, are in the Refunds & Withdrawal policy.

9. If something is wrong (complaints)

If an item does not work as described, you have the rights the law gives you for faulty digital content (in Norway, the digital content rules, digitalytelsesloven). Tell us at [EMAIL]; we will fix it, and if we can't, you get your money back. These rights come in addition to the refund policy.

10. Refunds, chargebacks and abuse

11. Changes to the game

Sunderkeep is a live game and changes over time. We may change how an item looks or works (for example a better model) as long as it keeps what it was sold as. If we ever have to shut the game down for good, we will announce it at least 90 days ahead and stop selling at that point. [Lawyer: decide what is promised for purchases made shortly before a shutdown, e.g. refunds for purchases made in the last 30 days.]

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law. Beyond that, our liability for a purchase is limited to the price you paid for it.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. As a consumer you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. If we can't agree, you can contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet, forbrukerradet.no) for mediation, or the consumer body in your own country, and you can take the matter to the courts where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones in force when you made it.
