The Gilded Rats
Officially the Gilded Rats do not exist. Unofficially they meet every night in the Gilded Rat, a den behind the bookcase at the back of Tan Solo's tannery, where the darts are sharp, the cards are marked and the rat on the bar wears a crown nobody remembers stealing. The crew has rules. The first rule is that there are no rules. The second rule is that the first rule is a joke, and you should know better.
Harry Hoodini runs the crew, when he can be found. Fence Washington keeps its stores: lockpicks, dark cloth, fake coins and genuine bargains, none of it from anywhere in particular. Robin Banks keeps the door. He steals from the rich and gives to the poor, and he is the poor.
Only rogues are let in without a fuss. Everyone else gets in on the password with a fuss, is watched the whole time, and leaves with slightly less than they came with.
