Guide
The two engines that drag the moon across the sun. They do not move; the Sun Engine fights for the Sun, the Moon Engine for the Moon.
Deadly The Eclipse: One clock for the whole raid: 14 minutes from the first pull. It never stops, not between keepers and not after a wipe. Each time a hero falls it moves 20 seconds closer; a wipe costs 45 seconds more (the keeper recovers in full and the party stands up again at the entrance). When it runs out it is Totality: the Sleeper wakes, strikes down every hero in the Orrery and the raid fails. Keepers that fell stay down, and so do their spoils.
The Two Realms: Every hero is bound to the Sun or the Moon, shown by the ring under them and the sun or moon over their head. At the pull the damage dealers are bound to the Sun and the Moon in turn, starting with the Sun, then the tank and then the healer each to the realm with fewer heroes (the Moon on a tie). An attack of the Sun only strikes heroes bound to the Sun, an attack of the Moon only those bound to the Moon.
The Gates: Two Gates stand in the arena, the Sun's and the Moon's (1.6 m). Walking into the other realm's Gate binds you to that realm; after crossing you cannot cross again for 6 seconds.
Deadly The Balance: While more than 3 living heroes are bound to one realm, every hero of that realm loses 7% of their health every half second.
Deadly Twin Engines: Only heroes bound to the Sun can harm Solarch, the Sun Engine, and only heroes bound to the Moon can harm Lunarch, the Moon Engine. Anything else turns aside.
The Scales: While the engines' health is more than 10% apart, the healthier engine mends 2% of its health every second and both hit 30% harder.
Alone: When one engine falls, the other hits 50% harder.
Deadly Corona Orbs: Every 24 seconds (20 in Syzygy) orbs of both realms fall, one of each (two in Syzygy), the Sun's on the Sun Gate's side and the Moon's on the other, and burst 6 seconds later. An orb only counts heroes of its own realm: one takes 50% of their health and burns for 10 seconds; nobody, and every hero of that realm takes 70%; two or more, and all of them are struck down, as is a burning hero who takes another.
Deadly Twin Judgement: Every 28 seconds (22 in Syzygy), a 4 second cast: a blow worth 150% of a hero's health split between the Sun's heroes, and another between the Moon's. If a realm has nobody, every hero takes its whole blow.
Syzygy Below 40%: When either engine falls below 40% health, or one falls, the orbs and the Twin Judgement come more often.
Sunlance and Moonlance: Each engine throws a bolt at the hero hurting it most.
Solar Rain and Pale Rain: Three circles fall around the heroes.
